The Challenge
OkCredit was made with one aim – to get shopkeepers and small traders to use their app in place of the traditional ‘Bahi Khata’. The brand wanted to not just stick to traditional urban markets, but penetrate the very heart of India and reach the remotest corners of the country.
The Solutions
We understood that to reach rural markets, or for that matter, digitally nascent users in urban dwellings, our communication has to be fun, yet localized. So, we created a series of films and with that, designed the entire brand communication approach for OkCredit. From regional languages, slang-ish tones, a quirky positioning called ‘Apne Hisaab Se’ and a bright aesthetic, we crafted and launched the brand with a flourish!
